Alison has nearly 40 years’ experience in recruitment, been a director of 4 listed businesses and was MD at Liquid Personnel through a period of exceptional growth culminating in a substantial (mid £20 millions) trade sale.

She built two multi-million pound businesses for Hays PLC, and later two successful RPO/SOW businesses in other Plc organisations, personally negotiating contracts up to £120million in value.  Multiple awards include Times Fasttrack 100(24th), Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For.

She now works with leaders of multiple smaller recruitment businesses (all sectors) to help them refine strategy, achieve business goals, enter new markets, improve penetration and value, and develop great leaders, often preparing a business for sale/exit. Her clients have been regularly rewarded including in the Recruiter Magazine Awards and Fast 100.

What are your core areas of expertise? 
Full business advice including financial analysis and reporting, sales strategy and process, HR and L&D, marketing, compliance and infrastructure. I work with rect business owners to accelerate their growth, avoid expensive mistakes and prep for a successful "event" or just to achieve sanity.


What size companies do you consult to? 
From start-up to £100million turnover. I work with ambitious business owners and their teams who are prepared to put the work in to achieve amazing, profitable growth.


How do you work with businesses?
Typically, on a 12 month contract with one full day in person per month plus actions and remote support in between. Also happy to discuss shorter "project" assignments and L&D interventions, especially leadership and management development.
