What are your core areas of expertise? 
Having co-founded and played a leading role in organically building a leading global Life sciences recruitment business that was acquired in a highly successful trade acquisition, I am able to advise on the following;

• Review and provide guidance on business plans for the growth of companies within the Search and Recruitment sectors.
• Advice and guidance on Market Entry strategies for new sectors within business growth plans.
• Strategic advice and guidance on globalising company operations looking at factors such as most suitable countries to target, internal talent acquisition strategies for new countries and offices, business development strategies when targeting new geographic markets, management and execution strategies when landed etc.... Countries include the US and Switzerland.
• Strategic Advice and Guidance in the development and expansion of Global Client Services groups and overall commercial strategies. A core aim of developing and expanding global Client Services functions and Commercial Operations of search and recruitment companies to ensure a global approach to business development.
• Mentoring and guidance for the compani’s leadership teams as they continue to grow, expand and face new challenges.
• Advice and guidance relating to the strategic long-term planning of potential "events" for recruitment businesses such as Private Equity investments, MBO’s, Trade buyouts etc... as required. 


What size companies do you consult to? 
• I tend to consult with growing or established businesses who have a foothold within their chosen sector but are looking to pursue ambitious, dynamic and sustainable growth strategies to increase the scope of company operations which could include growth into new service lines, locations or sectors.

• Typically the companies I would work with would have a minimum of 15-20 people and beyond but I am also happy to work with ambitious start-ups or individuals that have a clear plan and focus to build an exceptional and sustainable search or recruitment business. 

• Often these companies will be driving towards a mid or long term “event” including PE or MBO Transactions, Trade Sale of the company etc…


How do you work with businesses?
I tend to operate in the following way with most clients.

• Pre-arranged and structured weekly sessions with selected individuals within the leadership team to discuss and work through live projects and challenges.
• Attending monthly board meetings as an independent advisor / Non Executive Director at the company's request.
• Quarterly and annual strategic planning sessions including business plan progress review and budget planning etc….
• Ad hoc calls or meetings
• Taking part in later-stage interviews of potential “Key” hires for the companies I am working with.
