  • Little Ship Club Bell Wharf Ln, Upper Thames St London EC4R 3TB United Kingdom (map)

Join RFDs for our next quarterly event by the Thames!

This 3-part event includes:

(1) UK economy: How did we get here & where are we going?

(2) The AI Revolution: New thinking for leadership

(3) Digital Workers Powering Up Recruitment firms – The art of the possible

With 2023 proving harder to predict & more uncertain each month that goes by, RFDs is bringing you expert insight into the macro picture.

In the first session, RSM UK Economist, Thomas Pugh, will provide expert analysis of the recent UK economic data, what we can expect in H2 & what it means for the recruitment industry.

Covering topics:

  • Inflation

  • Recession fears

  • Labour market

  • Interest rates

Thomas will give a short presentation followed by a Q&A. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered by a leading authority to help you plan for the rest of the year.

How will AI transform the staffing industry? What does it mean for your business? As leaders, how should we approach this topic?

In the last few weeks RFDs have hosted two breakfast events to answer these questions with subject matter expert, Brad Dowden. In the second session, Brad will present back to the community the main talking points from the events, lessons learnt & key principles to make better decisions when it comes to AI.

Brad will cover topics such as:

  • Building on strong foundations

  • Focus on business problems, not tech

  • Experiment & learn

  • Massive opportunity with risks to mitigate

Brad will give a short presentation followed by a Q&A. This session gives members another opportunity to get involved in the AI conversations who couldn’t make it to the breakfasts, revisit the main points for those that did & discuss this important topic as a group.

Brad Dowden is founder of Intercor & CIO circle. Brad brings 25 years' experience as a technologist strategist & has steered some of the most high-profile recruitment companies towards technology empowerment.

Increase headcount or use more automation?

This is a question that every board will no doubt have to answer this year. As a finance leader, there is massive opportunity to eliminate manual tasks, free up time & increase productivity. However, knowing where to start & the possible end game can be confusing.

  • What is Robotics Process Automation?

  • Uses cases in the finance function
